I brought my 2012 Impala in because of an annoying scratching sound that I heard anytime that the heater/defroster fan was running. I left the car in the shop for a few hours and ran some errands with my brother while I waited for it. When I called to check on the status of the repair, I was told that they had to partially dismantle the dash because they had not found the cause of the problem yet. I told them that was fine, but that I would need my car back (or a loaner) by 3:00 PM. They said no problem. I returned to the shop about 2:30 and I was told on sight that I was getting a loaner. I said fine, but I needed to get a couple of things out of my car if I was leaving it there. They took me back and I was startled to find the entire dash, steering column and all on the floor next to my car! They showed me the scrap of plastic that was found deep in the bowels of the system that had caused the noise, assured me that this was a warranty repair, and we exchanged a few jokes about the situation. I was quickly at ease again. I was also pleasantly surprised to find my loaner car was waiting for me when I returned to the write up desk. I was expecting a used Cobalt and was presented with a 2013 Impala! (I really appreciated that!) I was called the next business day and told that my car was ready for pickup and that I could come back for it at my earliest convenience. I came back the following day. Everything was back together. Everything worked. No squeaks or rattles, and my car was washed for me. Best of all that stupid noise is gone from the fan. I appreciate LaRiche's professionalism of going the extra miles to make sure they got to the root of my problem. I appreciated the humor when I was a little bit shocked by seeing my car in a thousand pieces on the floor, and I appreciate that they gave me a top notch loaner car while my own car was out of service.
